Calculation method of area of hazardous waste room
At present, there is no unified calculation standard for the area of hazardous waste room,
but the following methods can be used for estimation:
Calculation based on the amount of production
First determine the daily production volume of hazardous waste and the maximum storage
period, and then calculate the required storage space volume according to the accumulation
density of each hazardous waste, and then combine the layout and height of the storage
facility to convert the required plane area.
For example, if an enterprise produces 10 cubic meters of hazardous waste per day, the
maximum storage period is 90 days, assuming that the density of hazardous waste is 1.5
tons/cubic meters, and the height of the storage facility is 4 meters, then the volume of
storage space required is 10 x 90 = 900 cubic meters. If the layout factor of the storage
facility (taking into account channels, isolation areas, etc.) is 1.2, then the plane
area = 900÷ (4×1.5) ×1.2 = 180 square meters.
